Thanks to immense involvement of students, parents and teachers renovation of the mobile artifacts of this Krosno School of Trade nicknamed “The Mechanic” reached very impressing level leading to creation of a wonderful museum type of exhibition (the only of its kind in the whole country and without any doubt in Podkarpacie) including almost all types of vehicles driven on the roads of Podkarpacie after the WWII - included are also a few examples of pre-war vehicles. The collection in total reaches 80 vehicles and is still growing. Gathered here are almost all one-track vehicles that were ever driven on the Polish roads since the early ’50 of the past century. The Polish Section covers 10 motorbikes and 14 mopeds covering the period between 1950 – 1989. The most precious ones are:
- SHL motorbike, year: 1954, with a stiff frame and shock absorbing trapezoid at
the front
- WFM motorbike, year: 1956
- JUNAK motorbike, year: 1960
- mopeds: OSA, ZAK, RYS, KOMAR
- cars: WARSZAWA M20 “Hunchback”, year: 1952 make, and SYRENA 103 with
doors opened to the front
Apart from vehicles made in Poland the collection also features 13 motorbikes made in Czechoslovakia (including a speed-way JAWA), 8 motorbikes made in Germany (including a precious AVO SPORT), 5 motorbikes made in Russia (including a legendary IZ and K750). Other interesting exhibits are: JAWA 353 (1956), JAWA CZ175 (1958), SIMSON AVO (1960), MZ ES250 TROPHY (1962), IZ 49 (1953), PANONIA TLE (1960), mopeds: JAWA (1960), SIMSON SR2 (1957), and cars – variety of SKODA, FIAT, ZAPOROZEC, ZASTAVA, WARTBURG, TRABANT.
