Theme trails

The Carpathian Temples Trail:
Krosno – Stropkov (Slovak Republic) connects the most precious temples and religious cult places esteemed by the locals of the Lower Beskid. While travelling along the trail visitors can admire charming nature, historic towns, health resorts and trans-border culture. The Carpathian Temples Trail was awarded an honorable mention during of “The Best Project of 2002 Competition” sponsored by The FORD Motor Company.


Trail route:
(Stropkov -Krusinec -Vyskovce -Vislava -Olsavka -Bukowce -Staskovce -Vladica - Gribov -Kozuchovce -Mirola -Bodruzal -Krajna Polana -Nizny Komarnik -Vysny Komarnik) -Barwinek -Trzciana -Dukla -Chyrowa -Wietrzno -Krosno -Miejsce Piastowe -Iwonicz -Rymanów -Królik Polski -Jaśliska


The Wooden Architecture Trail - runs through the following routes:
Krośnieńsko - Brzozowska, Sanocko -Dukielska and Jasielsko - Dębicko -Ropczycka.


Trail „In the footsteps of Alexander Fredro”:
connects places related to life and creative work of Alexander Fredro and his family.
Castle "Kamieniec" ruins of The Kamieniec Castle - Korczyna - Krościenko Wyżne -Lesko - Hoczew -Cisna - Krościenko - Smolnica - Chyrów - Rudki - Beńkowa Wisznia - Jatwięgi - Lubień Wielki - Lwów - Przyłbice - Medyka - Surochów (near Jaroslaw ) - Nienadowa -Bachórz -The Kamieniec Castle.


The Petroleum Trail
This trans-border trail connects with each other places related to the birth and history of the oil industry. Its main axis runs through: Jaslo-Krosno-Sanok-Lesko-Ustrzyki Dolne-Sambor-Boryslaw-Dohobych-Lviv. It also provides hiking and cycling loops along it.


The Papal Trail of the Lower Beskid
The trail runs through southern grounds of the Counties of Jaslo, Krosno and Sanok, from Magura Watkowska to Komancza. It runs along the red trail of the Main Trail of Beskidy and it is marked with plates showing directions and places of the Reverend Karol Wojtyla’s old hikes.
