Tourist attractiveness of the Jaslo County results
mainly from its natural values. Here lies the Magura National Park
which consists of forest complexes with unique flora and fauna.
So, it is no surprise that tourists looking for peace and quiet
and untainted contact with nature will find abundance of attractive
places in here.
Visitors to this area who are looking for an active relax, can find
it here. Horse lovers can spend time in horse riding centres out
of which the most interesting one in Kotan near Krempna offers horse
riding lessons, horseback riding, carriage riding and in winter
time sleigh rides. Those who prefer walking or cycling can take
numerous marked trails (among others in the south: marked red the
main Beskidy trail, marked blue the border trail... there is also
a yellow one and many other liaison trails). In the backwoods of
the Lower Beskid a careful and observant tourist may find many species
of plants and animals. It may be an unforgettable experience to
watch the beavers in their habitat almost on all rivers, streams
and brooks of the county. In the northern part of the county there
is a walking trail connecting Przybowka - Krajowice - Trzcinica
- Skolyszyn - Swiecany.
This trail will provide the visitors with exceptional scenic and
natural values as well as bring him near the unique historic monuments
of the region. The neighbourhood of Osiek Jasielski offers natural
baths on the Wisloka River in Zaleze and Osiek as well as camping
sites in Pielgrzymka and Mrukowa. In the forests of the Debowiec
commune one can find erratic boulders and among them the Devil's
Stone near Folusz, around which a nature reserve has been set. The
local climate is very good for health. In the vicinity of this place
anglers can enjoy catching trout. In the neighbourhood of Kolaczyce
one can visit a geological reserve "Golesz" . Sports -
and climbing in particular - oriented visitors will be tempted by
the rocks of Krajowice. In the commune of Brzyska there are two
interesting trails leading to the top of the majestic Liwocz mountain
where one can find a cross and an observation tower.
Worth visiting is also the Krzywacka Mountain near Katy where one
can see the Jubilee Cross commemorating old hikes of the Pope John
Paul II in this area. In Krempna and Folusz there are holiday and
vacation centres as well as tourist objects. Farm tourism functions
in many places around here but in the high season one can also stay
overnight at school hostels. Gastronomy base is growing up. Reactivation
and development of the Krempna Water Reservoir will make this area,
which tempts tourists with its beauty, even more attractive. Peculiar
attention draws the Carpathian Troy, also known as the Biskupin
of Sub-Carpathian Region - a fortified settlement dated back to
the beginnings of the bronze age. Important in the European scale
archaeological discoveries have taken place there.
The oldest fortified settlements out of all discovered in Poland
were discovered here and the traces of the first influence of the
Balkan-Anatolian civilization on the early Polish settlements were
also found here. Based on discoveries in Trzcinica a unique - on
the country scale – archaeological open air museum – the branch
of the Sub-Carpathian Museum in Krosno - and a unique tourist complex
are being developed there. The fragments of banks and houses will
be reconstructed. The archaeological park will include a reconstructed
village dating back to the early bronze age and early medieval times.
An exhibition hall will be built, where excavated artefacts and
old methods of production will be presented.

Lubienko, Lubno Szlacheckie, Jaslo.
4. places of religious worship: Tarnowiec, Debowiec, Skalnik, Jaslo
5. places of martyrdom: Jaslo, Bierowka, Szebnie, Harklowa, Sadkowa,
Warzyce, Kowalowy
6. observation places: Gora Liwocz, Gora Grzywacka, Lysa Gora, Gora
Cieklinska, Gora Bucznik, Polana, Wysokie.
